I reject the term POC to describe me and my ethnic group. I’m #ADOS. AMERICAN DESCENDANT OF SLAVES. POC is an attempt to wash out my people’s history and our continued oppression. ADOS wasn’t lumped with anyone else during slavery, Jim Crow and now mass Incarceration. I’m #ADOS.
