Why Won’t Boomer Parents Listen to their Millennial Children?

The Coronavirus is targeting the Boomer population and America isn’t prepared. We need Bernie Sanders now more than ever.

Frustrated with the lack of information getting out to the public, I began a group text message several days ago.

And I made the choice to include my Boomer parents and other Boomer relatives.

I already knew my anti-social, self-absorbed parents would be annoyed that I would dare disrupt their daily lives to discuss Coronavirus, a deadly viral pandemic and the 2020 presidential election.

I mean, who cares, right about such trivial things? I would guess that a lot of people would care about the Coronavirus and who will be the next President of the United States. But, no, not my Boomer relatives.

My Boomer “coasting through life” parents just can’t be bothered with the boring, serious stuff.

I used to think, when I was a kid, that my parents worked damned hard. My Mom worked for the post office after being forced out the Army due to an overpopulation of soldiers. My Dad got in trouble which caused him a bar to reenlistment (that’s the story I heard anyway).
